Journalist D Shah Khan laid to rest
Rawalpindi: The renowned journalist David Shah Khan, who died on Monday, was buried at Gora graveyard, Harley Street, here on Tuesday.A large number of his colleagues, friends and journalists attended his last rites led by Pastor Ilyas.
Earlier, Dr Maleeha Lodhi expressed her shock and grief over the death of D Shah Khan who worked with her in ‘The Muslim’ and ‘The News’. She said the deceased was a thorough gentleman. Spokesman to the President Farhatullah Babar, and the Principal Information Officer were among those who visited Islamabad residence of the late D Shah Khan to express their grief. Babar remained colleague of the deceased at Institute of Regional Studies.
None of the few relatives of the late D Shah Khan was in Pakistan. A team of the dedicated staffers of ‘The News’ led by Sajid Javed and Malik Tahir prepared the body of the deceased for the burial.
