Inquiry report to be submitted within fortnight
ISLAMABAD: An inquiry commission constituted by the Ministry of Interior under Justice (r) Mian Muhammad Najumuz Zaman regarding alleged abduction and torture of a senior reporter of an English daily and a similar threat posed to another journalist, has completed its proceedings and the chairman has now left for Lahore.
The commission had recorded the statements of all the stakeholders and is now expected to submit its conclusive report to the ministry within a fortnight.
