Jang staffer dies

Karachi- Jang Internet Division’s senior journalist, Aniq-ur-Rehman passed away Thursday morning after short illness. He was 63.

He was laid to rest in Sakhi Hassan Graveyard Thursday evening.

Earlier, his funeral prayer was performed at Masjid Amina in Gulshan-e-Iqbal after Asr prayers on Thursday which was attended by a large number of people including his relatives, friends and colleagues and other journalists and workers of Jang Group.

The deceased wrote a number of columns for daily Jang and was working as Jang Blog Coordinator before falling seriously ill a few weeks ago. He remained hospitalised in a local hospital where his bypass surgery was also carried out.

Aniq-ur-Rehman is survived by a widow, two sons and a daughter.

His Rasm-e-Qul will be held at Masjid Amina, Gulshan-e-Iqbal after Asr prayers on Saturday. For women, arrangement will be made at the deceased’s residence at H.No.391, Block-5, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi.
