Jang Group lawyer A K Dogar moves LHC

LAHORE: A miscellaneous petition has been filed with the Lahore High Court (LHC) by eminent advocate AK Dogar, counsel of Independent Newspapers Corporation (Jang Group), for making 26 CDs of a programme of a private news channel part of the record.

The Jang Group has already moved the LHC for the cancellation and suspension of the licence of the said channel for allegedly ridiculing and disrespecting the judiciary and scandalizing judges of the top judiciary.

The hearing of the case will be held on Monday (December 30). The court has already issued notice to the administration of this private news channel.
