Jamali condoles journalist’s death
ISLAMABAD — Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali has condoled the sad demise of Ahmed Azeez Zia, former executive editor of daily The Nation who died in Lahore on April 22 at age of 80.
In his condolence message on April 23, Jamali paid tributes to late Azeez and said his services in the field of journalism would be remembered for a long time to come. He said Azeez was a man of integrity and never compromised on principles throughout his career. He prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and grant of courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss.
