Its government failure says Arif Nazami
KARACHI- Editor The Nation and Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE) President, Arif Nizami has termed the bomb blast at the Nawa-i- Waqt and The Nation office as a brutal attack on the freedom of Press and said that such an incident is proof of the failure and incompetence of the government and administration.
He said that despite all claims the present government has failed to provide protection to the journalists. He said this is not the first incident of its kind. There have been attacks on Nawa-i-Waqt offices in the past. Prior to this Nawa-i-Waqt offices were attacked and set on fire. “However the incident is a failure of the government.” Nizami maintain.
