ITCN Asia 2004
KARACHI: Embassy of Pakistan in Paris has assured utmost support to ITCN Asia 2004 and a huge investment by the foreign players of France is expected to be incurred in the IT and telecommunication sector of Pakistan.
Mohammad Jehanzeb Khan, Commercial Counsellor in his letter to the organizers has assured his support for promoting the Mega IT Event of the country and informed that he has already delivered brochures to the leading IT companies of Paris, said an official statement on March 24.
“A hyperlink would also be established with the websites of ITCN and Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) and a seminar is also planned in Paris to promote Pakistan’s IT potential”, Khan added.
ITCN Asia, a three-day International Exhibition and Conference, is specially designed to project potential trade investment opportunities in the IT and Telecommunication sector of the country and provide a platform for matchmaking key players of the global IT industry, added the statement.
The mega event of IT – ITCN Asia 2004 International exhibition and conference is being organized by the Ministry of Investment and Privatization in collaboration with the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, City District Government Karachi, Board of Investment, Jang Group of NewsÂpapers, E-Commerce Gateway Pte Ltd., Singapore and Jamal’s Yellow Pages of Pakistan on August 9-11, 2004 at Expo Centre Karachi.
