Islamabad High Court (IHC) journalists association gets new cabinet for 2022-23

The Islamabad High Court Journalists Association (IHCJA) on Monday elected its office bearers for the year 2022-2023. All the office bearers are elected unopposed.

The election committee comprising senior journalists Mateeullah Jan, Azam Khan and Saghir Chauhdry announced the portfolio of the new cabinet members. As per the announcement, Rizwan Qazi of Daily Dunya has been elected as President, Hussain Ahmed Chaudhry (92 News) has been elected General Secretary while Farah Mah Jabeen (HUM TV), was elected Vice President. According to the announcement, Haseeb Malik (GNN) is elected Finance Secretary and Ambreen Ali (News One) is elected Information Secretary of the IHCJA.

Imran Mansab Khan from PTV and Raja Bashart from Online News Agency have also been elected as joint secretaries. Zubair Qureshi (Pakistan Observer) Shahzad Malik (BBC), Adil Abbasi (PNN), Asia Kausar (GTV) and Zamir Hussain (Channel5) were elected unopposed members of the governing body. Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb congratulated the newly elected office bearers of the IHCJA
