ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) directed to regulate PEMRA according to the decision of the Supreme Court on the issue of showing the live speech of Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan, BOL News reported.

As per details, Chief Justice of High Court Athar Minallah made important remarks while hearing the case against the PEMRA notification of the live broadcast of Imran Khan’s speeches.

Chief Justice said that if someone makes a statement about someone being a patriot and that person is not, then you give them open leave.

The court said that every citizen is a patriot and this statement about the armed forces, in particular, wanted to demoralize them. He asked, Can anyone say that a young man in the armed forces will not be a patriot?

Chief Justice Athar Minallah added that the armed forces are rescuing the people. Can anyone justify this statement? Do you want the court to give them a free license? When you make a statement in public, it has more impact.

While talking to the lawyers of PTI, Chief Justice said, are you saying that the constitution should be violated? A political leader who has a huge impact on accusations. If they do this kind of unconstitutional talk and spread incitement, it does not come under freedom of expression.

While inquiring from the lawyers, the court said that 3 crore people are affected, whether political leadership is like this. Armed forces sacrifice their lives for us. Have you heard Imran Khan’s statement yesterday? Is this how political leadership works?

Everything is put on the line for Game of Thrones? If someone does something unconstitutional, everyone criticizes. Make yourself accountable for what you want to do.

The Islamabad High Court gave important remarks that you can say whatever you want. The regulator should not regulate. Do not expect relief from the courts, it is the prerogative of the court. Every citizen is a patriot, no one has the authority to issue this certificate. How can such a thing be said about the armed forces who are being martyred?

The court directed to regulate Pemra by the Supreme Court decision and said that with such a statement you will create problems for yourself. What message are you sending to your enemies? Aren’t all generals patriots
