Irfan Hussain passes away
KARACHI: Irfan Hussain, a senior journalist, broadcaster and former executive director of the Arts Council of Pakistan passed away on Sunday at the age of 87. Hussain was born in Allahabad and educated in India. He later migrated to Pakistan.
He was a well-known figure in literary and journalistic circles. He also taught journalism at the University of Karachi. The deceased was buried at the Askari-IV graveyard on Sunday. The soyem would be held at the Askari-III mosque on Tuesday.
