Inter results announced
HYDERABAD – The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Hyderabad, on August 19, announced the results of the higher secondary certificate part-II (class-XII) pre-medical group annual examination 2004.
Naveed, son of Ismail Soomro, of the Preston Intermediate College, Latifabad; Ashok Kumar, son of Preetam Rathore, of the Government Boys Degree College, Sanghar; and Aakash, son of Haresh Bhatia, of the Preston Intermediate College, Latifabad, secured the first threepositions by obtaining 920, 902 and 898 marks, respectively.
Among girl students, Almas, daughter of Sikandar Pathan, of the Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Umerkot; Bushra Alvi, daughter of Amanullah Alvi, of the Beacon House Public School, Hyderabad; and Aysha, daughter of Khan Mohammad Talpur, of the Government Girls Degree College, Tando Jan Mohammad, secured the top three positions with 925, 920 and 914 marks, respectively.
A total of 17,422 students including 6,938 girl students appeared in the science general group examination out of which 13,147 students including 5,513 girl students were declared pass while result of 174 students has been withheld. The percentage on the whole is 75.46 %.
