Imran Khan strongly condemns harassment on social media
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan strongly condemned abuse and harassment on social media, especially targeting of women, said a statement issued here on Wednesday.
He said it was unacceptable for those claiming to be PTI supporters to harass and abuse anyone on social media, especially women.
“PTI can make its case effectively based on its policies, positions and ideology. “We do not need to be, nor should we ever be abusive” against people as that only undermines the Party and Its cause,” he was quoted as saying.
“For Insaf to be done the process/behaviour should also be one of Insaf. “How we conduct ourselves reflects on our Party and ideology. There is no room for abusers and harassers in PTI,” Khan concluded.
