Illegal SIMs

The use of illegal mobile SIMs has become the most common cause of terrorism. Recently, thousands of fabricated, active SIMs belonging to a leading telecom company were confiscated during a raid, with it being discovered that most of them were being sent to FATA. In a recent press conference, the senior superintendent of police in Sargodha said that no action would be taken against the cellular company employee who cooperated with the police and shared any information regarding the fraudulent SIMs.
It seems that, instead of investigating the case thoroughly, the police have issued their own verdict, which, as per law, is not their job. This statement hampers the legality of the issue and is beyond logical understanding. If police officials were given cash and commendation certificates for this raid then why should the company officials who committed the crime with these illegal SIMs, be spared?
