I owe nothing to PTV, says Dr Shahid
RAWALPINDI: Geo TV anchorperson Dr Shahid Masood has said he owes nothing to the state-run TV.
Dr Shahid Masood said his deal with the state-run TV contained a clause that if PTV relieves him from his duties, then it would pay him six months salary, but if he resigns, then he would pay an amount equal to his six months salary to PTV.
He said the notification of his appointment as adviser contains explanation that the above-mentioned clause was removed during the process of his resignation.
