Hyderabad Press Club office-bearers elected unopposed
HYDERABAD: Muhammad Hussain Khan of daily ‘Dawn’ and Ishaq Mangrio of ‘Sindh TV’ have been elected unopposed as President and General Secretary, respectively, of Hyderabad Press Club.
Three members election committee headed by Mustaq Baloch with Nasreen Shakeel and Sadiq Kubhar declared all office-bearers of Hyderabad Press Club as elected unopposed as other candidates withdrew their nomination papers.
The other office-bearers who have been elected unopposed are Hayat Baloch of daily ‘Ibrat’ Vice President, Mumtaz Memon of daily ‘Sindh’ Joint Secretary, and Rashid Shafih of daily ‘Jurrat’ Treasurer.
The members of governing body elected unopposed are Ali Hassan (Dawn TV), Hameed-ur-Rehman (Aaj TV), Anwar Kamal (Geo TV), Altaf Koti (Express TV), Waseem Khan (Dhoom TV), Lal Rehman Sammu (F.M. Radio), Khalid Khokhar (Daily Sindhu), Mahesh Kumar (Daily Halchal) and Imdad Soomro (Daily Ibrat) while Niaz Vighio of Daily Mehran has been elected unopposed on Associate seat in the governing body.
