Hunger strike against land-grabbing in Dadu
HYDERABAD: A protest was staged outside the Press Club against land grabbing in Dadu district and a federal minister and his brother were accused of tampering with the land record.
Protesters Mumtaz Kalhoro, Jameel Lakher, Hot Faqeer Chandio, Syed Hussein Shah and others observed a hunger strike and chanted slogans against influential politicians.
They said the influential politicians enjoyed the support of the executive district officer in tampering with the record, adding that fake cases have been registered against peasants of the area.
