HRCP reports three more abductions
KARACHI: The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) on Wednesday reported alleged abductions of three more citizens by the law enforcement agencies in Sindh from July to Sept 2006. According to the details provided by the HRCP, these abductions that were allegedly carried out by clandestine units within the government, have systematically been using the same vehicles, a car and a jeep that have been used in other political kidnappings. The jeep bears a registration number while the car does not. Names of the victims include Cheetan Kumar, 45, and Gordhan Das alias GM Bhagat, 55, both residents of Umer Kot district, Sindh and 22-year-old Greesh Kumar from Hyderabad. Their whereabouts remain unknown to date.
