HRCP man shot dead in Khuzdar

QUETTA: A local official of the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan was shot dead on Tuesday evening, sources said.
Naeem Sabir, HRCP`s Khuzdar District Coordinator, was sitting at his stationery shop in Chakar Khan Road area when armed men riding a motorcycle opened fire at him.
Police reached the site and took Mr Sabir to the civil hospital where he died.
“Naeem Sabir was working as a sub-engineer in the Irrigation Department,” a police official said, adding that motive behind the murder was not clear.
“Police are investigating the case,” he said.No one claimed responsibility for the murder.
