Housewife murdered in Lyari

Karachi: The body of a woman who had been murdered was found in the Baghdadi police limits, while four bandits were arrested by the staff of the Crime Investigation Department (CID) Sindh with arms and looted items.

The murdered woman was identified as 40-year-old Yasmeen. The police said that she was a resident of the Telephone Exchange lane, Old Golimar, Baghdadi and was a housewife.

Her family said that she was alone at home while her husband and three sons had gone to work. When they returned, they found that she had been murdered

and her body was lying in the house.

Unidentified people killed her due to unknown reasons. A case was registered and investigation is underway.

CID ARREST: The staff of the CID busted a four-member group of robbers which were active in posh localities of the city. Arms and looted items were recovered from them.

SSP Fayyaz Khan of CID Sindh said that they received information about a group of bandits which was present in Hijrat Colony with looted property. A police team of the CID conducted a raid and after a brief encounter arrested all four bandits, and recovered a repeater, three TT pistols and looted property.

The accused were identified as Kamar-uz-Zaman, Mohammed Yasin, Abdul Qadir and Mohammed Ali. They were wanted in several cases of robberies and other crime. Further probe is underway.
