KARACHI- The new eveninger Daily Gujarati, was launched by the Vatan Group of Publications.

The newspaper, edited by Usman Arab Saati, is founded by Mehmoud A. Haroon, who was the chief guest of the launching ceremony, which was presided over by Muhammad Siddik Bilwani, the Muslim Gymkhana president.

Mr Haroon hoped the new newspaper would not only serve the community, but would also contribute in nation building. He also appreciated the efforts made by the group in successfully bringing out the newspaper Vatan, for the last three years.

Notable social workers, Abdul Sattar Edhi, also attended the function, besides representatives of the Iranian consulate and leading personalities of the community.
