Government to implement Wage Board Award: Omar
ISLAMABAD- Federal Minister for Labour and Manpower Omar Asghar Khan said that the government would implement the Wage Board Award for Newspaper Employees. He was responding to questions by journalist at a briefing.
He said the government has constituted the Seventh Wage Board for Newspaper Employees.
The minister pointed out that there is also a statutory body, Implementation Tribunal for Newspaper Employees (ITNE), to ensure the implementation of Wage Board.
He hoped newspaper owners would also cooperate to implement the Wage Board Award.
