Girl gang-raped in Khairpur village
KHAIRPUR: A girl was gang-raped in a village of Khairpur district by three men while she was working in fields.
Hospital sources said Sanam was taken to the Basic Health Centre, Pacca Chang, for treatment. They said the girl, who belonged to village Ghar Panhja of Faiz Gunj town of Khairpur district, was now out of danger.
A visibly shaken Sanam said she, along with sister Sughra, was in a field for cutting grass, when three unknown men caught her and tied her hands with rope as well as those of her sister.
The accused gang-raped her and fled, she said. BHC lady doctor Tajul Burdi said the girl was nervous but out of danger. She said Sanam was medically examined.
The gang rape victim said if the accused were not arrested, then she would commit self-immolation.
