Geo TV presents special live transmission today
KARACHI: Geo TV will telecast special live transmission on the eve of Youme Farooq-e-Azam today (Friday).
This transmission will be based on three hours to be started at 4 pm. Dr Aamir Liaquat Husain will illuminate the incident of Shahadat of Syedna Farooq-e-Azam (RA) and most importantly he was the protector of the seal of Prophet-hood.
He will also do the special discussion based programme in this regard where renowned religious scholars like Dr Fazal Ahmad, Allama Kokab Noorani Okarvi, Haji Hanif Tayyab, Qari Khalil-ur-Rahman Javed, Dr Hassan Rizvi and Maulana Muhammad Ahmad Ludhyanvi will participate.
The scholars will highlight the prominent and shining characteristics of Hazrat Omar Farooq (RA) as leader, judge, and as ruler.
Other than religious scholars, Naat Khawan will also participate where they will recite the manqabat to pay homage to Hazrat Omar (RA). Those who will participate are Rehan Qureshi, Rehan Qadri, Imran Sheikh Attari and Hafiz Tahir Qadri.
Three manqbat will be recorded as well. Renowned Naat Khwan Rehan Qadri, Imran Sheikh and Hafiz Tahir will recite the manqabat to pay the tribute to the second Caliph. The transmission will be supported by Templates.
