Geo television popular in Dhaka

DHAKA: The popularity of the Geo Television is increasing by leaps and bounds in Dhaka, Bangladesh, due to its factual news and categorical comments on them.
Those circles that understand Urdu watch Geo Television with great interest but the channel is also well popular among the Bengali circles too. Specially, the journalists watch and hear news and views on Geo Television about Pakistan.
The Editor of English newspaper News Today Riazuddin Ahmed who is also President of Safma Bangladesh Chapar watches and hears news on Geo television with great care due to lack of acquaintance with language and its accent.
Ghulam Sarwar, Editor of Bengali newspaper Samakal, said that he watches news on Geo Television with great interest but he does not understand it well, therefore, Geo Television should be asked to write news and views in English so that they did not face problems in its understanding and use it.
