Gang-rape victim identifies her tormentors
SANGHAR: A gang-rape victim identified four of her tormentors as Danish, Sohail, Jehanzeb and Waseem Kaimkhani after an identification parade held at the court of civil judge Shaikh Mohammad Suhail in Khipro on Wednesday.
The girl identified them from among 10 men shown to her and the accused were shifted to district jail after the identification parade.

Police had arrested all accused nominated in an FIR lodged by the girl’s uncle. Three sisters, Nayab, Farasat and Tahreem, were also nominated as accused in the FIR but they escaped arrest after having obtained protective bail before arrest.
The victim’s uncle stated in the FIR lodged on Oct 4 that his niece was invited by her class fellows Tehreem, Nayab and Farasat to Khalid Kaimkhani’s house where she was given sweets mixed with sedatives.
After she fell unconscious Jahanzeb, Waseem, Danish and Sohail subjected her to criminal assault, filmed her through a cell phone camera and posted it on the Internet, he stated in the FIR.
The victim’s counsel Qalandar Bux Leghari expressed serious reservations over the manner of investigation into the case and said police did not include relevant sections of the Cyber Crime Act in the case although the accused had recorded their crime through a mobile phone camera and posted its footage on the Internet.
