Four newsmen held for theft
DADU- Four journalists were arrested on the charge of theft here on Thursday.
SSF Aftal Ahmed Nizamani and the Dadu town SHO, Ghulam Rasool Soomro, arrested Nizamuddin Sheikh, Dadu press club secretary Gullan Bhand, Mian Mohammad Pirzado and Dadan Khan Bhand for allegedly stealing a VCP. Wali Mohammad had lodged the FIR.
Later, press club president Javed Narejo at a meeting condemned the arrests and said the journalists were being harassed and targeted for reporting against the police.
