Four kidnapped girls, father recovered after eight days
HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad district police officer (DPO) here on Saturday announced that the police had recovered four kidnapped girls, along with their father, from a farmhouse in the Thatta district.
Addressing a news conference, the DPO said the family was kidnapped on January 2, 2009, from their house, adding, the police had raided the farmhouse on the information of the accused arrested earlier in the case.
The family, kidnapped in the limits of the Bhitai Nagar police station of Qasimabad Taluka, was recovered after eight days. The father said the kidnappers had not caused any harm to him and to his daughters and also did not torture them during the captivity.
