Forfeiture of books and magazines
The home department has banned books titled ‘Sabak Phir Par’, ‘Shatam-e-Rasool’, Indian printed monthly magazine ‘Sindhyun-jo-Sansar’ issue of June 1998, ‘Sindh Rises’ of July, September, October 1998 and ‘Sindh Sujag’, July, September and October 1998.
According to a hand out issued on Wednesday, the department under section 99-A of Criminal Procedure Code 1898, imposed ban upon further circulation of the aforesaid books and magazines in Sindh and declared that all copies of the same if found in circulation be forfeited.
