FIR registered in cinema blast against unidentified men
KARACHI: The FIR of a bomb blast that took place at Kumar Cinema Sunday was lodged here at Kharadar police station on Monday.
Police officials said FIR (408/11) was registered under Sections 324, 427 and 7 ATA against unidentified men on the complaint of cinema manager Zahid Ali. According to SHO Ali Ahmed the motive behind incident was yet not clear. He said that the low-intensity explosive, hidden beneath a seat, also contained ball bearings. Five people received minor injuries when the bomb exploded after an interval at the cinema. Investigators so far believe some money dispute to have motivated the incident.
