Fawad Khan’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil to release in Pakistani cinemas
While Pakistanis waited with bated breath to see whether or not SRK-Mahira Khan starrer Raees would be released in Pakistan, they had probably given up hope on Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, another film that had generated a lot of hype on both sides of the border. Many people were left with no other option than downloading the film illegally while others simply gave up and forgot all about it.
However, it seems as though normalcy is finally returning to cinemas as almost four big Bollywood films are scheduled to release soon. Fawad Khan’s ADHM is all set to release after a three-month delay.
According to sources close to the Ministry of Information, National Heritage and Archives, ADHM has been given a no objection certification (NOC). This will pave way for other Bollywood blockbusters, such as Aamir Khan’s Dangal, which has proven to be the biggest Bollywood film ever made, and SRK’s Raaes and Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil.
The news is welcomed by Pakistanis wanting to watch these films as well as cinema owners and everyone else related to the film industry. Cinema owners had been complaining about the loss of millions and countless jobs during this time period. Hopefully cinemas will be able to recover some losses with the release of these four films.
