Expression Art Gallery holds ‘summer workshop’
LAHORE: Expression Art gallery kicked off their ‘Summer Art workshop’ for art lovers, showcasing calligraphy, paintings, drawing and other art works for a month here on Monday.
Expression Art gallery is a new set-up by art lovers who intended to polish the hidden qualities of people by the professionals and National College of Arts (NCA) volunteers. Curator of the art gallery Sehar Jilani said that people belonging to all ages could be mentored here to explore their hidden qualities in the supervision of NCA senior students.
They are self-motivated and passionate to teach the art works in different categories. Regardless of whether artists belong to the fully blossomed or budding category, “being gifted” is their criterion in art works said curator Jilani.
“We will also initiate these kinds of art promotional activities in the future as well for the betterment of art and its future in Pakistan,” said the curator of the art gallery. The gallery primarily focused on seminal exhibitions and art initiatives including work by young and established artists, she added. She said that the gallery is holding several group and solo art shows.
