Ex-Pemra chief removal case: IHC orders to complete arguments on July 7
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC), Wednesday, ordered all the parties in former Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) chief Chaudhry Muhammad Rasheed’s removal case to complete their arguments on Monday (July 7) hearing.
A single member bench of the court comprising Justice Noorul Haq N Qureshi heard the case. Appellant Chaudhry Muhammad Rasheed himself appeared before the court, while Mehmood A Sheikh and Shahid Mehmood Khokhar appeared on behalf of the Federation.
Sheikh told the court that Rasheed’s removal was made according to the law and Constitution. Sheikh could not complete his arguments on Wednesday’s hearing later the court adjourned the hearing till Monday (July 7).
