Event held to highlight importance of social media

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Digital Media Head Umar Rehman Malik organized a meeting at Rehman Malik House Islamabad.

The event was attended by PPP Punjab General Secretary Syed Hasan Murtaza, Senator Sahar Kamran, Ayesha Nawaz Chaudhary, Nazir Doki, Captain Wasif, Syed. A large number of party leaders and workers including Subal Haider Bukhari were also present on the occassion.

In the opening remarks, Umar Rehman Malik while welcoming the guests said that his father, late Senator A. Rehman Malik, had immense love and respect for the workers of the People’s Party in his heart and this house was more of a party office than our house and will always be a house of workers. He said that the doors of this House will be open day and night for the workers of People’s Party.

He said that this was the first happy ceremony at his home after the sad death of his father. He said that he wanted to emphasize that united we were strong and divided we were weak, we can strengthen our party and our leadership if we were united and ignoring all small differences. Work together for the great cause of Islam.

Highlighting the importance of social media, the PPP Digital Media Head said that we were living in a rapidly changing globalized world, where people from all over the world were connecting with each other, planning events, running campaigns, creating trends, creating narratives. He stressed for using digital media to promote.

Speak up and share ideas, he said that today everyone was on some social media platform. He said that social media was the first option that comes to mind when looking to increase connections in any field.

Umar Rehman Malik said how digital media can be ignored when it comes to a political party that needs to convey its ideology and manifesto and message of leadership to every nook and cranny of the country.
