Entourage, journalists, bullet proof car also to go for Saarc summit
ISLAMABAD: The entourage of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif including the press party for the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (Saarc) Summit will be finalised today (Sunday).
The prime minister will arrive in Kathmandu on Tuesday on board a special aircraft to attend the 18th Saarc Summit.
Earlier, a PAF C-130 plane will carry a special bullet proof car and press party to the Nepalese capital. Nawaz Sharif will use the car to transport him to and back to the conference and retreat.
This bullet proof car had been imported by the ex-head of state and is being used currently by the prime minister.
The prime minister and his delegation will return home through the special plane on the 27th of this month.
Other heads of state and government including Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Afghanistan and Maldives will use the bullet proof cars bought from India.
