Education minister orders probe into irregularities
Karachi: Senior Education Minister Pir Mazharul Haq on Sunday ordered an inquiry into reported irregularities committed during the upgradation of 700 schools across 10 districts in the province.
The minister has appointed Special Secretary Education Waseem Ahmed Ursani as the inquiry officer to probe the case and submit a report at the earliest, said a press release.
Ursani has been asked to investigate if any violation of departmental policies was committed, a spokesman said.
