Earth Journalism Network offers journalism grants [Worldwide]
Journalists and journalism organizations focused on reporting about climate change can apply for a grant.
The Earth Journalism Network (EJN), a project of Internews, is accepting proposals for the Climate Grants for Adaptation and Response.
The initiative seeks to support the creation, growth and capacity building of journalism organizations focused on reporting about climate change adaptation and the response to the Paris climate agreement.
Possible topics should relate to the response to the climate agreement and/or adaptation needs, challenges, efforts and success stories of vulnerable and marginalized communities.
Applicants must provide brief summaries of local adaptation case studies they plan to incorporate into their project, in addition to a network or capacity building component.
The total fund is US$75,000 to be allocated to five projects.
The deadline to submit a proposal is Feb.
