Dunya News senior reporter Samin Jan passes away
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Dunya News senior reporter Samin Jan passed away on Sunday in Peshawar. He was 55.
He was one of the founding members of Dunya News and was associated the network since November 2007.
He was suffering from liver cancer. His funeral prayers were offered at District Council Colony Yusufabad Dalzak Road.
The management and workers of Dunya Group shared their grief over passing of Samin Jan.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Haji Ghulam Ali expressed his grief over the death of Samin Jan and expressed his condolences to the bereaved family. “Samin Jan was a hardworking, honest, fearless journalist,” he said.
Caretaker Minister for Food, Agriculture, Livestock and Forests Asif Rafiq said, “An era of journalism has ended with the death of Samin Jan as he was the best journalist and also had a kind personality and he will always be missed in this field.”
