Dr Amir of Geo TV leads others on social media
KARACHI: After breaking all previous records, over the electronic media during the current month of Ramazan, the transmissions of “Amaan Ramazan,” also secured a prominent place on the social media.
According to rating, hundreds of thousands of internet consumers set a record by visiting the official facebook page by the mid of Ramazan. It may be recalled that “Amaan Ramazan” transmissions are not only broadcast on social media but also can be witnessed on mobile device and I-pads. Video archiving of all the transmissions are also being uploaded. In a recent comment, Dawn while highly commending the “Amaan Ramazan” broadcast of Geo hailed the presentation style of Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain and said he mesmerised millions of viewers across the world.
It says Dr Amir attracts the hearts of the people through his beautiful talks and heart rendering style of presentation. In a special feature, it is stated that there is no doubt that the programme presented by Dr Amir had attracted viewers. In its comment, Dawn says traffic jams due to rush is a common phenomenon at the venue from where the programme is being presented. The comment also refers to criticism coming up from certain quarters about giving away of children to issueless couples. However Dr Amir has made it clear through reasoning that he has not given the children as reward, but as service to humanity.
