Do not harass Bengalis with Pak nationality: Advisor
Talking to a delegation of Pakistani Bengalis Action Committee that called on him at his office Thursday, he said that the police would not raid any Bengali locality and Bengalis with Pakistani nationality would not be harassed. The delegation, led by ex-town nazim of Korangi, Sheikh Muhammad Feroz, complained of the maltreatment of Bengalis. They said that the Sindh police and NARA were raiding their localities without any reason.
The delegation said that the police was arresting even those people, who possessed all legal documents, including NIC and passport. The delegation also complained that the police arrest people and later release them for hefty amounts of money in bribes.
