Demo against manhandling of journalists in Hyderabad
HYDERABAD: A large number of journalists and photographers protested against beating-up of two journalists outside the local press club on Tuesday.
They chanted slogans against the Jamshoro administration as two journalists of a private TV channel, Aziz Palari and Ismail Barejo, were beaten up. They were residents of Nooriabad and Kotri.They demanded of the government to provide protection to journalists and arrest those people involved in the offence and register the case. The journalists said that the government failed to protect journalists as they often receive death threats from influential people.
