Degrees of 85 Pakistan Television (PTV) employees found fake
ISLAMABAD—As many as 85 state-run Pakistan Television (PTV) employees are employed based on fake educational degrees.
Secretary Ministry of Information Shahira Shah, while briefing the Public Accounts Committee, stated that investigating the degrees of PTV employees is going on. So far, the degrees of 85 employees have been found fake.
The secretary said the salaries of those with fake degrees had not been withdrawn.
The PAC directed scrutinizing the degrees of all PTV employees and recovering employees’ salaries having fake degrees.
