DCO Chitral barred journalists to cover Shundor festival
District Coordination Officer barred journalists from covering the Shundor festival. These journalists were sent by Ministry of Tourism for the coverage of the festival.
Journalists were not provided accommodation. Journalists protested against misbehavior. DCO rejected the PTDC request to provide accommodation to journalists. PTDC had to arrange residence in emergency. Journalists had asked Minister for Tourism to take notice of the misconduct of DCO.
