CPNE receives complaint from govt
LAHORE – Principal Information Officer (PIO) Haji Ahmad Malik on behalf of the Information Ministry through a letter has asked Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE) President Khushnood Ali Khan to take notice of the continuing advertising campaign by a media group against President Asif Ali Zardari.
The Principal Information Officer, in the letter, has drawn the attention of the Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors President to the advertisement of a private TV channel carried on the front page of a daily newspaper on October 12, which targeted the President. The letter urges that this matter be considered in the Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors .
