CPNE annual general meeting on September 7
KARACHI – The annual general meeting of the Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE) will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2004, at the Islamabad Club at 11 am to consider a four-point agenda which includes the consideration of the annual report of the CPNE for 2003-04 to be presented by Secretary-General Jabbar Khattak, the annual accounts for 2003-04, as presented by Treasurer Mahtab Khan, and general discussion on all matters of mutual interest to the members.
The meeting of the CPNE will also elect 35 members of the Standing Committee of the CPNE for the new year and, after the elections of the Standing Committee, the newly elected members of the Standing Committee will meet to elect the office-bearers of the CPNE for the new year.
The meeting will be presided over by President of CPNE Mir Shakilur Rahman.
