ISLAMABAD- The administrative control of COMSATS-COMSTECH MT MIT Centre Karachi will be given to some established and well-reputed professional organization to run it on commercial and professional basis. The meeting was attended by Dr Hameed Ahmed Khan, Executive Director, COMSATS, Dr S M Junaid Zaidi, Rector COMSATS, Dr Muhammad Ali Mahesar, Executive Secretary, COMSTECH and Prof. Sadik Ali Khan, Director of the Centre.
It was observed by the Board Of Governors that affairs of the centre are not being run professionally. The Minister ordered for holding evaluation of the construction work by an expert and said that payments to all consultants and contractors of the building may be seized till an evaluation report on quality of work is completed. The administrative set up of the centre and the audit reports about financial matters were discussed in detail.
