CM to open work on journalist colony on 10th
LAHORE, January 04 2006: Chief Minister Ch. Pervaiz Elahi will inaugurate development work on the Lahore Press Club Housing Scheme on January 10.
The decision was taken during a meeting of Lahore Press Club president Arshad Ansari with the chief minister at the CM’s House on Tuesday January 3. The CM directed all departments concerned to get ready for the project. “Work on the proposed project will start soon,” the chief minister added.
The LPC president informed the CM that the Punjab Revenue Department had issued a notification on the earmarked land and the Lahore Development Authority had given a final shape to tenders.
The LPC chief thanked the Punjab CM for his personal interest and all-out cooperation in the housing project. LPC secretary Noman Yawar and office-bearers Asad Sahi and Owais Ibrahim were also present.
