CM Punjab pays tributes to Majid Nizami
Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that Majid Nizami was a patriotic Pakistani and custodian of ideological basis of the country.
Services of Majid Nizami for promotion of Pakistan ideology will always be remembered. Majid Nizami rendered invaluable services for journalism, protection of Pakistan ideology, welfare of workers of Pakistan Movement and supremacy of democracy and constitution in the country.
The CM expressed these views in his message on the second death anniversary of Editor daily Nawa-i-Waqt and renowned journalist, Majid Nizami. Shahbaz Sharif said Majid Nizami always spoke the truth in front of the oppressor and strived for the stability of democracy and democratic norms in the country; whenever undemocratic forces came to power, Majid Nizami raised his voice in favour of democracy and democratic system.
He said Majid Nizami believed that Pakistan could not achieve a respectable place in the comity of nations without adhering to the principles and ideals of Quaid-e-Azam.
Majid Nizami considered protection of geographical frontiers of Pakistan as an article of faith and declared Pakistan ideology as a guarantee to its survival and solidarity.
