CJ murder plot FIA summons CM’s secretary, journalist
LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Tuesday summoned Secretary to the Punjab chief minister and the journalist, who had published the report of the Special Branch pertaining to an alleged plot to assassinate Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice Khawaja Muhammad Sharif, on September 29 and 30, respectively.
FIA Punjab Director Zafar Ahmed Qureshi is holding an inquiry on the orders of the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry. The summons had been issued to CM’s Secretary Dr Tauqeer Shah, and investigation editor of an English daily.
