Channels of jealousy
It is very unfortunate that a few TV channels are incessantly spouting venom against Geo TV. One of the reason, obviously, is jealousy. The people of Pakistan switch on Geo as soon as there is any breaking news due to the channel’s authenticity and timeliness of reporting.
In addition, this is an ideological war between two mindsets. The detractors of Geo detest peace – with India. However, their mask of patriotism has not helped in any way to dissuade the viewers from watching the most popular Geo channel. I would suggest that the said channels should resort to healthy competition instead of indulging in such blame-game all the time.
