Cell for tracking human traffickers
Sindh Ministry of Women Development (SMWD) has initiated a move to constitute a cell to keep strict vigil over the people, who on the pretext of providing jobs are kidnapping and selling young women.
Provincial Minister for Women Development, Tauqir Fatima Bhutto presided over a meeting on Tuesday and asked officials to present their suggestions in this regard so that certain elements can be exposed and brought to justice.
The minister said that they have received reports that some people are active in this condemnable business and trapping innocent and illiterate women in the guise of providing jobs.
The minister also condemned the killing of innocent women for honour and said that the murderers should be punished according to the law. There should be no leniency for murderers, she added. The minister issued directions to set up the cell immediately to initiate effective action against the culprits.
